The so and so's came on to the plot again. They stole someones brand new plastic greenhouse and 4 chairs and carried them off over the fence that surrounds the site. Problem is we have a park on the perimeter of the site. They actually bent the railings down so we don't think it was kids. Hoping to get something done with the railings as soon as we can. They really piss me off.Low lifes
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

Really sorry to hear that Shirl. If only these scum could be caught, but then what would be their punishment?

glosterwomble

isn't it horrible Shirl, we had our plot vandalised by 9 year olds, they kicked the front of my shed in!!

There aren't enough words for it. Or remedies - sadly.

Sorry to hear this Shirlton >:(  can't you grease the top of the fence and if you catch the barstards stick their heads on the top of the railings as a warning.  >:( >:( >:(
MAY THE CORN BE WITH YOU.

We painted the top of the railings with that paint that don't dry but they don't take any notice. Someone is looking into getting hawthorn hedging. I took a load of pyracanthus cuttings last summer. They do look as if they have struck. Will have to look at them when the weather gets better. They sometimes stay green but have no roots. If they are ok am going to put them down our end of the site. Might help just a bit when they grow                           .

Connect the fence to the National grid that will teach the sods

Sorry to hear about the vandalism Shirl, we had the same trouble and painted that non drying paint on it, they just put something on it and still got over.  We have planted Quickthorn, it does grow quick and has worked the only problem is there is no way to stop them climbing over the gates though.

tonybloke

the trouble with good quality fencing is,,, it's stable, and if it's got barbed wire or anti - burglar paint on it, then just throw a coat or something over it! rickety trellis is better at keeping them out!

We have hawthorn and any nasty spikey hedging growing around our site and that seems to work  !!
