Allotments 4 All

started snowing about 1am and now have about an inch :) luckly I dont need to go to work today!

.... West Essex - SNOW!  ;D  Lovely but I wish there was more, if only for a couple of days :)  Got to work at 8.50am and my first duty after 12 days off - nip back out and spread the bird seed about under the bushes, hehehehe.

Snow in Gloucester! I woke up and wondered if I wouldn't have to go to school and then I remembered that I'm 36yrs old and don't go to school!!!  ::)

Sunny but freezing here. Just dropped the car at the garage and walked home- took about half an hour and my nose is dropping off!

Just an icing of snow and frosted over that as well......but the sun came out. Boys just got back from a week in Stockholm were cold this morning! Different cold in Sweden...much less damp.
Looks like the digging is going to have to wait! Plenty of other stuff to do anyway.

first day of school and woke up to lovely snowy landscape my daughter was gutted, me to as i had to walk her there with the slippy sliddy pushchair >:(


the little one enjoyed it later though ;)

No snow in Derby this morning... but picked up at Loughborough and laid at Leicester most of the day!  :)

Swindon, Wilts snow on the ground when I finally got out of bed(about 9.30 am. late night) All gone now 9pm and getting very cold. Last lay in tomorrow back to work on Wed.

Lovely day here today.
I took advantage of the sunshine and washed all my greenhouse pots (inside), but dried them outside in the sun.

We haven't had any rain here since December 1st  :o and no snow either.

-7 C when I drove off to work this morning at 7.45am and coming back home at 6.30pm was already down to -4 C. Lit the fire in the lounge for the second night running. Brrr.

...West Essex, bloody freezing!  Think it's about 2 outside.  Driving back from Enfield last night it hit  -10.  Pfft.

Warmest it got yesterday was minus 4! (And that was better than Monday!)

Haven't been outside the house today. Just sitting here listening to the radio & nursing a heavy cold. (One of the penalties of having grandchildren!!)
