So what did you all get then?  ;D

My favourite present is this beautiful mask from my husband.  As some of you know, I collect original Venetian Masks and Rosebud brought this latest one back from Italy earlier this year and my husband has been keeping it stashed away ;D  It's my biggest mask to date, measuring a stunning 12.5 inches.  I have about eighteen of them now and yesterday my husband said he's going to make me a glass display cabinet to put them up in the lounge  :D

Wow, that's gorgeous!  My favourite present this year was a book of LOL Cats - cheered me up no end.  Slightly off topic, but what are you studying Elvis2003?  I'm also a very poor mature student lol
What I lack in ability and experience, I make up for in sheer enthusiasm!!!

A lovely mask SamLouise, would love to see a piccy of the collection when it's on display.

Mine was a new laydee's fork for the plot to replace my "3 tines left" one, and three sessions at the local pamper parlour (defo going for one after the tats go in ;D).

A couple of good books, and beers... and a 1000 piece allotments jigsaw, which kept me quiet for a couple of days!

Amongst other things....an opal ring.  Opals are my fave stone and this is such an unusual ring I am thrilled.

One of my customers gave me family membership to the RHS which I was also thrilled with!  ;D

I just love jigsaws and have loads and loads, mainly from charity shops.  Is the allotment one by Ravensburger as I like their quality.  Might buy that one myself.  I got hyacinths, daffodils, gardening bag with towel and fork etc. An allotment calendar which is good. Microwave from OH as he broke the glass plate in the old one (probably drunk at the time) and a digital camera which I really wanted but will have to sit down and work out how to use it with the instruction booklet.  Maybe I will be able to take photos of the allotment and even post them on here, but that may be beyond my capabilities.  A bit different from the old Brownie box cameras (showing my age).

I think I was spoilt this year....a really good short driazabone style raincoat for the lottie, a years subscription to Kitchen Garden mag, a couple of good gardening books, Sarah Ravens cookbook, a little digital radio for the lottie, and best of all, a voucher for 8 days labour at the allotment from my OH! My son got me a very sweet brooch, shaped like a packet of seeds, a roll of twine and a trowel, with little pearl 'seeds' falling out of the packet...very thoughtful and appropriate! I am a very happy bunny.... ;D
If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴

My family know I love autobiographies, I now have 5 new ones to read including Julie Walters which I really wanted. I also had an extra book on Boxing Day titled Wild Thing which is the true story of Britain's rightful Guv'Nor. The book is written by Lew Yates (the Guv'nor) and Bernard O'Mahoney. Lew pops in to see my son and D.I.L  now and again, he visited over Christmas so John bought his book which Lew has signed with a message and photograph for me. Also got vouchers for Focus, nice supply of chocs and lots of nice smellies. The best present a family get to gether next door at young Lorna's.

Carol

I bought my own Xmas pressys.

Lorna would you like Paul O'gradys book?   I bought it for my friend and forgot to give it to her.  Then she told me her sister had bought it for her.  I cannot stand him so the book is going somewhere.

Carol. Oh! another one that I wanted (sorry I like him :) will PM my address and arrange payment. Many thanks.

i got a rake, which I did ask for. And also some pegboard, so I can make the shed into one of those super-organised sheds like my dad had, with all tools and things hanging in their alloted places.

Maybe one aspect of my life will seem to be under control, if I get the time to put the pegboard up.

If only everything in life could be slotted into peg board... ;)

Bubbly Berry

To the people who had Woolies vouchers ... don't you need to spend them quickly??  ::)
