Here is translation for those with lack of knowledge.

First off the B&B is near the billabong not in it.

although i think the jist of it was he gave away the answer early cos he was aay at a jolly of some sort and that he was glad we all wasted money on new clothes and food for the party of announcement day and that we could have all celebrated with a bloody mary if only we produced as many tomatoes as he had so we could make the tomato juice
or summat like that i think  ??? ???

Leave the poor fella alone, he's just lonely and needs a hug.  :-*     ;D ;D ;D
MAY THE CORN BE WITH YOU.

asbean

That wasn't humourous - I was just thirsty.  And I know what a bloody mary is, and since I have more Australian family than Brits - I'm familiar with tinnies, eskies,  stubbies and more.

Ta for the correction, Ollie.  ;) ;) ;)

I too know what a Bloody Mary is but in the context he wrote it I thought it was his companion not the drink

I also know what a billabong is.. but a bil bong??

And  I still want to know what the bed and breakfast bit (B&B) is all about  or is is a mistake ,was he sleeping  at B&Q or does he mean he went to a BBQ.. I am still lost.

Grawc, I think I need my bumps felt too!!

I think GBG's cheese has slipped off his cracker.. or maybe mine has.

Leaving on a positive note, I ma reminded of a couple of  popular sayings of my Dads.

Don't dish it out if you can't take it    OR       Don't start something you can't finish

Where can I buy some assbeans, I don't have any of them in my collection, do they climb or are they dwarfs.

I have a horrible feeling it may be American slang for haemorrhoids.   :-[ :-[ :-[

Jeannine

Benedict and Brandy.. but seems a bit out of  place in a billabong.

sorry assbean but both are correctly spelled.
But alas if you are too daft to understand. I will not bother to explain why they are both spelled correctly .
