Jeannine, the postman just arrived - what can I say but thank you!!!!!  The time and trouble you have taken (and the postage!) and your generosity with your seeds is just amazing.

How are you feeling today and how's Molly doing?  Hopefully, you've all had a good night.  More  {{{{{{{hugs}}}}}} for all of you.

Thanks from me, mine just popped through the door. a few new things to try, i can't wait for spring, but research on the varieties you sent me will have to do for now ;).
Hope you feel well soon :-*, how is the kitty?

Indeed, Jeannine - that's the one I've quoted for years - but I've also suggested the HMSO one - is that badly dated??

We've used it for 60 years for veg & fruit & quote " are still here"!!

Agh, I posted a thankyou in another thread. Yes mine arrived this morning as well, so very kind of you J.

I hope you are feeling better and that little Molly is on the mend too.

Star xx
I was born with nothing and have most of it left.

Jeannine

Molly is home, very poorly, the vet cannot come up with any reason for the high temp, blood tests have gone to Glasgow, results in 3 days..meantime we have brought her home, she is eating at home a bit(not at the vets) we are giving her lots of fluids. 3 am her temp had gone down to normal here but had risen again by 7 am. She was very distressed at the vets, throwing herself around to get the drip out, then we discovered that she would be on her own at night as there is no one on duty, so we have brought her home. We are expecting to lose her, she is on antibiotics, they have tried a few types and she is not responding to them..it is very hard. She is however very comfortable at home, on my bed, we give her a drink every couple of hours all day and all night and she does get off the bed to use the kitty tray but she is sleeping most of the time. She is in God's hands I think now.

Glad the seeds have started to come through, sorry for the delays.

Tim,  as  I am not familiar with the site you mention but as I read the bits you show it does seem  very much out of date.. eg oven preserving is no longer considered safe and hasn't been for several years, however the info re fruit is still sound but  as it doesn't meention veggies, fruit or meat I can't really form a real opinion. I will certainly check it out. I do firmly  believe there should be a site with the correct info on it that is updated regularly. Thank you for the info.

Tricia, thank you for the pepperdews, they will be gpoing with me..tuvked in my bra I think!!

XX Jeannine

When God blesses you with a multitude of seeds double  the blessing by sharing your  seeds with other folks.

Jeannine - my seeds arrived this morning as well - thank you, thank you, thank you. :D
Glad to here that Molly is home and a little bit better. It is good that she is eating, if only a little bit. When one of ours has cat flu and didn't eat the vet suggested tempting her with tinned sardines in tomato sauce!!!
I hope you are feeling better too - or elsr you might have to try the tinned sardines as well. ;) ;D
