I had the pleasure of visiting the Harrogate show yesterday the first time for a few years.

What I like most about the show is the society shows; where 'Amateur Gardeners' get the opportunity to show their produce in a 'Professional' manner.

Gone are the commercial 'Garden' displays, the nearest you get to that is when the societies rig up a display.

Plus I get the chance to meet people that I competed with and against in years gone by.

The criac was good but I'm sorry to say quite a few of my old friends are 'missing' shall we say :(

Here are a few of the pictures I took;

Carnations;http://s222.photobucket.com/albums/dd27/tgalmanac/Carnations/?action=view&current=628f14e8.pbw

Chrysanthemums;http://s222.photobucket.com/albums/dd27/tgalmanac/Chrysanthemums/?action=view&current=edbf6320.pbw

Dahlias;http://s222.photobucket.com/albums/dd27/tgalmanac/Dahlias/?action=view&current=836547e2.pbw

Fuchsia;http://s222.photobucket.com/albums/dd27/tgalmanac/Fuchsia/?action=view&current=d9c8526f.pbw

Great pictures of a good day out, Tee Gee. I loved the dahlias, made me want to grow more next year. I didn't realise they ever had "show gardens" at the Autumn show, thought it was just the spring one. And it was great to see so many thriving local nurseries and societies represented. At Hampton Court there wasn't much from north of Watford!

Nice images, Tee Gee ! thanks from those who couldn't otherwise see the show. ;)
You couldn't make it up!

Just lovely Tee Gee. Loved the carnations and fuchsias, 2 of my favourites. Thank you for sharing.

They don't and never have, this was the point I was making when I said;

It is hard to believe all those dahlias are in the same family there is such a variety of form.
Thank you for sharing your pictures TeeGee.
The handle on your recliner does not qualify as an exercise machine.

Good pic's TeeGee, wish I had smelly 'puter'. (Probably have, but not the same sort of smell!)
