Allotments 4 All

'Scartanore' took over a VERY overgrown (i.e. neglected for nearly 10 years since last lessee died) patch in Whitwick (Landowner is Mr P de Lisle) on 16th March 2006. Brambles of 20 foot, nettles to die for. lol

Now have 5 plots all gardually coming under cultivation - but it's being done GRADUALLY by hand as we keep finding 'treasures' from the previous owners; and lots of wildlife.

VERY hard work as some of us are disabled/ill, but we're finding it great fun and getting incredible apple harvests. First potatoes and onions this year!!  ;D
