Someone will tell you whats wrong with them Im sure.

They look ornamental to me. :-\
You can pick your friends, and you can pick your nose, but you can't pick your friends nose

susan1

manicscousers

to me, they look as if they could do with a feed, what did you prepare the ground with, we used fish, blood and bone for the first time this year, it seems to have worked  :)
are the roots ok, do they pull out, that would be root fly, if the roots are deformed it's club root, hopefully it's just feeding they need  :)

Try a high nitrogen feed... like Urea if you can get it. All old leaves do that colour change thing..... just if the cabbage is thriving it tends to be less visible as they are hidden by large later leaves...  :-\

everyyear I  do added a lot of well rotten horse manures( over 5 year old).
but seem they're not doing any better >:(
this is the second year which the leaves turn red again even grow  in the different patch!

Why don't you get a soil kit and find out what nutrients you have and don't have in your soil....Did you lime the plot?

penwortham115

sorry but they ave   club  root  next time you plant put lime in the planting hole it helps

Yuet_Lee

thanks Penwortham!
Shall
i add lime in the soil over winter or add when planting in next spring?

raisedbedted

I dont think it is club root and if it is then just adding lime wouldnt be enough, you could try a resistant variety next year such as 'Kilaton' or try growing Kale instead.

My money would be either on nutrient problems or that the soil is too acidic, maybe partly caused bu the manure.  I tend to manure in the autumn then lime in the spring for my brassica beds.

RBT.
Best laid plans and all that
