My earlies are Pentland Javlin. I dug up my first row of 8 plants and got just under 7.5kg which as it's my 1st year I thought wasn't bad .. 2 rows to go.

Well I certainly havent dug mine too soon. They flowered about 3-4 weeks ago and the haulms are now dying back naturaly (not blight). I should note though that the haulms did not grow very big before they either flowered or started to die off. This would explain the poor yeild. I just wish I knew why they didnt grow much. They were planted late, in the middle of April so had about 10 to 12 weeks in the ground before cropping (which is about right for earlies I know but should have given them plenty of time to produce a decent crop).

Just dug up my first Charlottes and got just over 800g for one plant. Not too bad - a bit better than my Red Duke of Yorks (700g on average). The plot hadn't been worked for years before I took it over 18 months ago, so I hadn't expected a huge yield. :)

We tried Swift - very diassapointing yeild

Barnowl

Vivaldi (second early) in  a container: 3.5 lbs from three seed potatoes (about  600g per plant).

Lady Christl  (in the bed) produced around 800g per plant

Emerald Vale (container) - very tasty but not a good yield - perhaps 450g per plant

The lower yield from the containers may well be because they were
under-watered at times and, in the case of Emerald Vale, harvested too early.
