Allotments 4 All

Hi - I've moved house and I'm trying to wrest back control of the front border from neighbour's many many cats!

Can anyone spare me some cuttings or root divisions of things like lady's mantle, iris, lavender, rosemary? That kind of thing.

I've got lots of flower seeds to offer, I'll put them in a seperate message, cos I can't remember what Ive got!

I have a root of geranium wargrave pink if that's any use.  Iwas going to throw it away as I have lots of it and it's a good do-er.  Grows about knee high & bushy, lots if single flowers and will give a second flush if cut back in summer.

Hi there.  I've got Rosemary, Lavender, Sage, Lady's Mantle and lots of other 'cottage garden' plants.  When you say cuttings do you simply want cuttings or do you want them already rooted?   Happy to strike some for you if the latter. Can also let you have seeds of Aquilegia, Honesty and Sweet Rocket later on if they are any use.  (I know the latter two are biennials but they are a must IMHO  :))  PM me if interested.

well I would love them rooted - but I appreciate it makes postage harder. They all sounds lovely and just the sort of thing I like, so I would love anything you can spare.

Thanks for the offer of seeds as well, but I'm okay for seeds, I've got some of all those already - taken from my allotment before I left. We must have the same taste in plants!

Good taste I'd say.   ;D  (You can see pics of my garden in my blog.)  Okay how about I pop out tomorrow and take some 'longer than necessary' cuttings and pop them in the post to you then you can trim them and pot them up.  If any don't take I'll root some here for you.  I'll need your details tho'.  I do have some rooted Purple Sage btw so I'll send you one of those too.

I'm sure I've got some penstemon rooted cuttings,will look tomorrow, pm your address I'll stick them in a jiffy  :)
