Allotments 4 All

Wife reports that after steaming shop bought PSB the steaming water is green, but after steaming our own from the lottie the water remains clear. Has anyone else noticed this or is wife in need of treatment?

Ours is green.

It could be the variety.

I have actually had a muddy looking water from one variety.

My wife tells me that after steaming asparagus her water turns green.
