7  months ago my garden was a barren land of couch grass, and a patio I didn't know was there.

As I don't have an allotment, thought would post pictures that I took this morning to show everyone how its all doing :)

Wow, that looks amazing! Good for you, I'm very jealous.
For myself I am an optimist - it does not seem to be much use being anything else.

Love your little helper, a budding gardener of the future  ;)

jo9919

It's looking great  ;D.

My first year of gardening was last year. I thought I would have a go at growing veg in containers, but didn't have a clue where to start so I found this forum. As you say, everyone here is so welcoming to newbies, you can ask the silliest of questions and you don't get laughed at, and the advice you get from other members is second to none.

Before my first growing season was over, my name was down for a lottie. I went on the list last year at number 40 so I don't expect to have one anytime soon  ::)

I absolutely love gardening now and can't think for the life of me why I haven't taken this up sooner. The joy at seeing something appear in the soil, grow, and then you eat it is brilliant  ;D

I love your little helper. I've got two 'bigger' helpers  :)

Jo.
