On saturday I put all my tomatos and chilli plants in a cold greenhouse.  However mine is elevated on a patio and can get up to 30 degrees by lunch time.

They have gone nuts, and the cold nights havent affected them or am I speaking too soon here. :)

My toms are in a nice warm greenhouse coming along nicely.

I was given two "Alicante" tomatoes last week and left them in an unheated greenhouse on my allotment last night. The temp last night was minus 2c,those "Alicante" are looking very sorry for themselves!....not sure if they will recover or not.

my toms were about an inch high, they look pretty good, i must take a photo, i was lighting candles at night, but i stopped now as we have had a few cold nights and they still seem to be standing, ive put half of my chillies out today (got a back up supply!!) ill see how they go.

I'm tempted to plant out my sweet pepper plants today, as they have been hardening off for a few days in the cold frame.

Cant decide.  May plant three first and see how they go.
