I need to get my butt in gear I haven't got anything sown yet.
Hope the kids feel better soon Caseylee, its not fun having an ear infection, both of mine have always suffered badly with ear infections, this horrible wind doesn't help.

Thank you, my eldest seems better he back to being cheeky, the little one is on his way to annoying me.  Don't worry about not planting anything yet, I planted tons of stuff but its all died, the only thing still living is my onions and a few other bits and bobs.  My rhubard that I planted last year my dog has run all over so it might be another year before I can pick from it.  I have planted a few rhubard seeds inside, can I put them in my cold greenhouse Wilthsire lass, I though they had to stay inside. I have a cold greenhouse would that be ok.
I really need to get my butt into gear cause my allotmetn is no where near ready to plant in, my raised beds aren't even up yet, and I really need to get my onions in the ground.  At the mo they are in large newspaper pots in the cold greenhouse doing nicely.

my rubarb is in the green house which isnt heated.
its my first time of growing it and i only planted it about 3 weeks ago so i really do not know if kepping it in the gree n house is the right thing to do or not.
i wont have room in  the house because of all the chillies

Fluffnco

I'm not going to panic about planting stuff on the lottie just yet. The soil is so wet the roots would rot on anything planted so I'm happy to wait for the soil to drain and dry out a bit...take my time ;) got all summer to replant n sow seed :D

Today has been a good day, I have managed to get 3 more raised flower beds done so they should be ready by Tuesday to take to the lottie when the other half is off.  I pick up my new greenhouse on Monday from a lovely lady on freecycle, and it comes with staging and a parrifin heater so I am over the moon, my little greenhouse I have at home is not big enough, but this one will be going to the lottie so I am so happy

Fluffnco

oo two greenhouse family now :P VERY posh :D

My broad bean seeds are beginning to germinate as are my little gem lettuces so at least I am guaranteed beans n lettuce this year lol. Potatoes are chitting away nicely too in our shed at home by the window :)

Really need weather to pick up so that the soil dries out enough to begin digging some beds. I want to plant my fruit bushes and pear tree this weekend. Was going to do it today but I had an awful sleepless shift overnight at work so came home and fell asleep on bed :( Always tomorrow, weather permitting.

I had a card through the door this morning too so think our poly tunnel type greenhouse has arrived. Just got to arrange to get it redelivered. could have done with it here to put up tomorrow but hey ho! :)

caseylee

posh far from it lol, I wish then I would have  a butler digging for me ( in my dreams)  My lettuce and onions are the only things that are surviving, my house is always so hot so I think it is killing my tomatoes, might try putting them in the greenhouse tomorrow with a fleece instead.  I also wish this soil would hurry up and dry out, I am dying to get started but it still so wet and horrible, but I am going to put it in the raised beds hopefully on tuesday after work, and mix it with some bought compost and get a few things in.  I feel I am so behind but even if my lettuce grows this year I will be happy, I have given up on my chillies as they have all died

caseylee
