To keep a frustrated gardener out of mischief? I should have come back from India today full of enthusiasm but the fact is I hobbled into Gatwick with self diagnosed  Achilles tendon damage. Away to A&E tomorrow morning for a diagnosis but Cleo rather fears a pot and possibly surgery :'(

List all the seeds you have and hope you are able to sow them :) Seriously hope you have good news at A & E. Good luck.

Oh no! How about posting some photos of India and telling us all about it- that should keep you busy for a while!

Yes good idea, posting pics and a bit on your holiday will pass some time for you. Hope it all goes well at A&E for you ;)
I was born with nothing and have most of it left.

Aw Cleo, what did you do to damage it ? :( (You could find out what to do with the fenugreek spice son brought back from Goa - pestel and mortar only gets it flying everywhere :-D)
If I ever get it all right - then that's the time to quit.

Look on the bright side.  If they tell you you must rest it then you could be a human scarecrow to keep the birdies off your prize veggies.  Wrap up warm tho'!  :D  ;)

Time to look up all those ocra dishes you will need come late summer

Feel better quickly!

Advice? Don't get a pot on it! I broke my ankle 3 years back, kept it in a lateral sprain bandage until it stopped hurting. Good as new in no time and no extended physio !
Oh! You mean lotty advice....erm...I dunno.

Okra- can't spell it let alone grow it!

I gardened with a pot on my lower leg & foot.  You need to put a plastic bag over it to stop it getting dirty & getting a lecture from the hospital, but remember not to stand on it ( I was in a non load bearing cast so hopped everywhere) as its slippy.
is it in the sale?

I think hopping is going to be the word!! I`m in a cast and booked for surgery next
wednesday. Then between 6 weeks and three months in a pot :'(

Oh poor you, but its much better to get well properly or it will drag on for ages and will always be a problem.

((((hugs)))) get mended quickly ;)

;D ;D ;D   - yep! She's gonna need a back-brace hauling home all those bottles of medicinal vino ::) - upside of your enforced immobility is that I look forward to reading some....er.....interesting?...posts from you here and there, Steph ;)

I can't say "get well soon" - cos you won't, or rather you will, cos it's all relative innit - upside is that you're not permanently disabled?

So, sit with one of those squashy underneath trays on your lap, sow some seeds in pots, cuddle a cat or two, get the uncorked bottles of rosso lined up....hmmm.....not a bad way to spend the back-end of February..

:-*

I grind mine in the coffee grinder attachment on my blender 8) Otherwise, try planting them? - lots of Indian recipes use the leaf :)
