According to my calendar it's only 26 January today.  How come the competition is already in vote mode?

I'ts very possible I might not be available much in the next 10 days or so, depends on news I'm waiting to hear. If it's good, then I'll certainly be around. Just covering a possible eventuality, Georgie.

In future I intend to split the months to come into two. I'll be looking forward to receiving early Feb flowers -and to include these last few days of January- starting next week. The first 'flush' will run until around the middle of the month with Feb part2 to follow.
The winter might have been a wet one, but not overly cold, so I'm sure we're going to see quite a lot of early blooms, hence splitting the early months to catch as many of those pre-spring colours as possible.
Thanks, Ken.

Georgie

Oh I see, thanks.  Hope all's well.

Thanks for all those who voted for my pictures. The snowdrops still look superb but the aconoites are begining to fade.

Suzanne

I liked both of your pictures but I thoght the aconites particularly cheery - so much so I am going to plant some for next year.
