Mainly a lurker nowadays but happy to see some old friends still posting - to them and to all allotmenteers Every Good Wish for 2008! 

OllieC, Truly believe every challenge is an opportunity to be grasped, vandals burnt our shed down in 2007 meaning we lost 20+ years of plantfood, tools, nets pots pegs etc etc but, you know what, it cleared out all the old rubbish and we started again leaner and trimmer!! Vandals struck again but this time they didn't burn our new shed and we didn't have anything worth stealing ;)

Still optimistic enough to have planted new rasps, asparagus and rhubard at nearly 70yrs - so at least someone will reap the benefit eventually!!! ;D

The great thing is that, even if we don't all have a great year, there will always be people here to share the problems- and not just allotment ones! ;D
