Allotments 4 All

As we seem to be having an old fashioned winter at the moment, what's the bets on a white xmas.
Mine should be white as it is forcast for Prague, coming in from Siberia. Nothing that a drop of slivorvich shouldn't put right.

I bet we get some before June. ;D

Its going to be a wet and windy one according to metcheck. Mild weather ariving over the weekend. No chance of snow I am afraid. :(

Now, no falling into snow drifts in Prague, Ace!!

Men don't fall in, especially if we have just written our names in the snow ;D  (Its a strange male ritual)

It was white out there this morning! First 'real' frost I have seen in ages. That will wipe out the pesky critters that thought they would wake up to a nice breakfast in my garden next spring.

I had to swap the silk drawers for longjohns as it was a bit nippy around the nether regions.

As luck would have it I put the bananas in the greenhouse yesterday, so I saved them just in time.

I am in Kent - it is gone 1pm and my garden is still white and thick frost - I HOPE IT KILLS ALL THEM ROTTEN SLUGS STONE DEAD!

it was -4.7 when i got up and with the freezing fog everything looked very christmasy

Its about 1 degree now but its taken a while to get there.

I dont think were going to have a white christmas but i think Jan & Feb are going to be rotten!

I am off to the post office with the 3 cards i have to post and then i am comming home (putting a hot water bottle into the bed now) and going back and sleep. I hope this winter kills all the bugs slimmy ones and virusy ones! I got the last packet of antibiotics from the pharmacy this morning, they have gone though a months worth in a week  :-X
