Danny,

I think I've some purple omes I could swap, I'll try and remember to look tonight.

I only sowed 3 this year, to see what they're like, so there should be plenty to spare.

Mimi & Danny,

sorry it took so long -I remembered every day at work & forgot every night when I got home  ::)

Looking at the packet I've probably got 5 or 10 seeds each to spare -which is enough to try.

I planted 3 this year and they're coming along nicely, the biggest is getting on for 4ft high now and they all seem to have plenty of fruit.

When I retrieve my camera I'll send a picture.

If you're still interested send me a PM with your address.

Cheers,

Jeremy

Jeremy, you get down there and take some photos this minute!  My tomatillo plants are triffids taking over the greenhouse, laden with pretty flowers, but are they carrying fruit, are they hack as like!  I blame the tomatoes....don't know why...just have to blame someone else instead of me!  ;D ;)

derbex

Finally on their way -carefull how you open them.

If you can't read my writing let me know  ::)

Thanks Jeremy,  will wait on the postman with baited breath. :-*

I hope you got them.

I had my first one at the weekend (not quite ripe, it dropped off when I was tying the plant in), quite nice, about cherry tomato size, different taste and texture but pretty good.

The reason I decided to grow them was that they are unaffected by blight (AFAIK), which has done for peoples outdoor toms on our allotment in past years.
