Me too - hand surgery that day, so I'll have to send Gordon. He'll have a busy day as he's promised to be here when they send me home later in the day. I want the gardening clogs. I have some, but they won't last forever - and at that price they will go like hot cakes, so if you want them be there early  ;D.

Definately the wellies for me. I bought the sunflower ones last time, but have cut into the bottom of them while digging 1 and  a half lotties. They leak now :(

I am going to use them as flower pots ;D

If you know you can't make it you can phone them on 0870 4441234 & get them to put things aside for you for a day or 2. You usually get a very helpful Scottish woman on the phone just tell her what you want, which store, & when you can get there. Your things will be sitting out the back waiting for you.
It is one of the few shops that still has good customer service.

Thanks mackem - I've survived - it's pretty sore, but painkillers help somewhat and it is really difficult trying to manage on my own with only one hand  :). Gordon, bless him, got the garden clogs for me and the clips I use to hold up the tomato plants.

Sue, I think they change the offers every Monday & Thursday.

I went to lidls in germany and it was even cheaper. It looks like they just change the euro sign for a pound sign here.

I had to pop in to my local lidl shop yesterday. They had a long line of clearance items at silly prices. Radio wave thermometers, automatic watering timers, jeyes fluid, steel toecap boots. No gardening tools but a very cheap free to air satelite system for all you caravanners.
