Well hello my lovelies.. Im in Kingthorpe hollow. Ive had the plot for a couple of months and i love it... Cant imagine what i did before i had it. Will keep an eye out to see how ur open day did x

My plot is in Bants Lane , as is Hazel_ize( or was, haven't seen her on here for months),  and my son's wife and her next door neighbour although they don't visit this site as far as I know.

There's also Ruffmeister in Northampton, not sure which site, and my ex son in law has a plot also at Kingsthorpe somewhere. Maybe you know him, name of Scott.

So I make that at least 5 of us in N'pton.

Not a lottie holder but a member of forum.MBW & I have just started gardening,(in our fifties) & thought best place to look was somewhere with years of experience so chose A4A.At the moment we are experimenting with almost everything.We have strawberries in a grow bag,potatoes(I hope)in a big pot grown from a sliced sprouting spud!Loads of flowers of different sorts,hanging baskets & our grandaughters sunflower from school that she grew from seed.

I dont have a lottie either, but my garden in turned over to veg growing now for the past 2 years. Do you all still meet up? Can I be number 8? It would be lovely to meet some of you and chat veggie type chat ;) ;D

Hi star, do you actually live in Northampton (your profile map disagrees), and would you have the time to tend an allotment?

If so, I could give you the details of who to contact , and where the sites are if you like. PM me.

They have just started the new year of letting (October 1st) so I'm sure there may be a few have become vacant. I didn't have to wait long for mine last year. I asked in the summer and got one on the 1st October, and my DIL got a half plot on the same site. At that time I was told there were about 7 or 8 vacant plots on our site (Bants Lane) alone.

Maybe we could arrange a meet at some time too?
