We had one in the house last year Tim.  What a belter :o  was so big that at first I thought it was a bird.  He/she stayed and honoured us with its presence for a few days. :D
Take time to stop and smell the flowers.

Multiveg

Had one of those in a month or so ago - I tried taking pictures of it. Had problems as it was dark at the time, and my fancy digital camera is not at its best in low light levels.

Wow, Tim
You are so lucky to see such a cracker of a moth! :)
I went for a walk last night after the rain had eased off, and I couldn't believe the amount of moths flitting about in the myrrh! They were like snowflakes fluttering down!

If you mash a banana, add beer and sugar and place in a bowl in the garden, you should attract loads of moths on a warm evening. To see them better, hang up something white (a pillowcase ?) and shine a torch on it - they will be attracted to the light.
Granny is still your best friend !
