Allotments 4 All

I am not sure what has happened to my brocoli!
On friday I had a very small loose head on one plant about an inch square in size, I thought it would get bigger and I would have a nice crown, but yesterday it had flowered yellow flowers!
Shoudl I cut the flower head off?
Is that it, has it bolted with no crop?

I reckon it has bolted, it happened to me.  :(

we usually cut the main head off and get smaller spears from the plant, just done it to two calabrese today, might get some useful spears ?  :)

the only one of mine thats done something has bolted. >:(  ho hum.
