Allotments 4 All

 We took my mum out today. Now she always saves up little jobs for us to do-well she is 82 and still `all there` but she cannot manage everything.

Today it was the usual change a light bulb,sort out her answerphone message etc but then she asked me to have a look at a couple of tomato plants she had bought from some church fair.

One was a red tumbling tom--------------------------------------------the other label merely read MM-my own mother. Good job we live some 60 odd miles away-my rep would have been shot

didn't tell you, cleo..one of the guys n the plot bought moneymaker plants and nurtured them to sell at the plant sale..every one went !!  :o ;D

Rome was not built in a day ;D . But I did tease her rotten because she was close to tears over my brother never going to see her or even phone.

I gave her a big hug and told her that at least she had one son who loved her even if she had bought something I was going to post on the internet about.

she will be able to do a comparison and realise the error of her ways!
