Budgie I just love sweet williams.  The smell is heavenly.. My favourite is the deep red top left hand corner.  Beautiful colours. ;D
Take time to stop and smell the flowers.

They really raise the spirits, don't they.  Mine have been flowering for months and they are just going over now...but I'm not downhearted as I've just pricked out next year's supply!

Absolutely beautiful BB - one of my favs :)  Mine have been blooming now for weeks, they seem to go on and on and such a variety of colours.  Will be sowing the seeds for next year soon.  Incidentally, I know you are only supposed to let them bloom for one season, but I always leave mine in for two years and they always do well.
Happy gardening all...........Pat

Gorgeous pic BB!  I leave mine in and they seem to come back better and better!  I just hack the flower stems back, once a few seeds have been sprinkled, and they are getting bushier and bushier.  I am sure they will get weaker, but I planted some when we first moved in 4 years ago, and the same ones are still looking great right now.  The scent is wonderful!

Thanks for that tip, girls - I was going to dig the lot up but I'll try leaving the deep red ones in to see how they do! AC x
