Oh no GM baddies!

finding little balls in some oldish over wintered compost, yellow, are they slug eggs?

Robert_Brenchley

Probably. What size are they?

libby

Match head? maybe a little smaller, some are an off white colour as well as yellow, they are crunchy with a milky inside, when sqaushed, (not eaten) :)

I think you may find this is slow release fertilizer, its added by the compost company as part of the process. I wrote to one company a couple of years ago about this, that was the explanation. And I didn't get more than my normal share of slugs. ;D ;D

You had me seriously thinking then, but,i know bnq don't encorparate that type of fertiliser in the crap i buy,  so, thanks for your reply but will settle for eggs, !UNLESS, someone has the same story?
