Or should she go?

The vote is yours. Jenny has a long standing arrangement to visit a couple of friends in France flying out on Thursday.

She doesn`t want to go knowing I am in pain.

Helpful hints-

It hurts like hell to be honest but it`s marginally better

I am all for being looked after.

Her friend`s Hubby died recently and on the trip she would link up with a Uni friend whose` s child is autistic

Cleo is a tough old sod

What do you reckon?

Providing she leaves you plenty of Moneymakers to eat I should say you'll be fine.  ;D
Don't throw paper away. There is no away.

Tell her you feel much better and she'll choose to go.  If she stays & lets down her friends you'll both feel c**p.

Hope you feel better soon x
Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened

can you manage without her ?

caroline7758

What a shame for you both. Can you talk to a friend or relative and get him/her to tell Jenny they will look after you while she's away, so she doesn't feel bad about going?

cleo

Wonderful-we have both enjoyed reading your replies. I think I will be up to pottering around and doing basics like watering and feeding myself. Jen has looked forward to this for months-and the very thought of folk buying MoneyMaker when I could sell them something worth having is like opium ;D

Joking aside-it has been ruddy painful,I know it`s just pulled muscles but for the last couple of days I could hardly walk

I think she should do whatever her heart tells her is OK to do. If she knows you will be able to manage  without her, she  will also know that she could go, but if she still wants to stay by your side knowing that,  then she should stay.

Bottom line is..she should do what SHE feels is right for her. Planes go every day.

She goes - and you wave her off with a big grin. Pulled muscles indeed! Wuss! ;D

i think you sould go but i do think you should look at doing stuff for you.

Get some meals in the freezer - reachable.

Get a good book or some DVDs in.

Do things that dont take a lot of movement like plan and surf for birthday and christmas gifts as shes not going to be around you will be able to get away with doing things your way.

Make sure she brings you back something sinful :-)

Big hug :-)

She is going-24 hours on I`m still sore but about again. The best medecine was the shop I supply ringing today(Jen took them 4 boxes of stuff on Friday)-asking if I was due to deliver soon.

Well no says Jen,Steph`s back is sore and he`s not been able to do anything.

ah I see says the boss-if I came over could he have something for us?

I managed-he came and bought everything I had ready.

It makes planning a nightmare-last year they took 76 toms and a few bits and pieces-this year over 250 toms, and every pepper, aubergine, cucumber etc I had.

I`m not complaining  ;)

Good for you!!  ;)  Sounds like business is booming for you though, which is always nice  ;D

Do try and take it easy on your own though, and don't go overdoing it just cos there's nobody there to tell you off :D

Hope you feel better soon x
