There are a number of items that were not planted out three weeks ago, hence only one picture of the area.

Wow, that looks lovely, everything so neat as well! Where did you get your butternut squash seeds. Can I use the seeds from one bought at Sainsburys or is it better to buy them from a nursery?

I bought them from Kings seeds through the Leisure Gardeners association.

Look in the cucumber thread (In or Out) for Kings website address.

Regarding the second part of the question, it is worth a go. Just for the record some of the Melons I am growing are from 'shop purchsed' seed (The watermelons are as well)

Does look great G, and itsn't it amazing how quickly things start to grow - amazed at the growth your spuds have put on in that time!  Made me feel happier also, your water melon, toms and peppers are all similar sizes to mine so not feeling so left out and behind now.  You are a very very neat allotmenteer with very very straight lines.  The old boys on our site take the rise out of my wobbly lines and blocks or plants. I am sure you have told us before, but could you remind this sunstroked girl, how many allotments do you have on the go?  ;D

They look great gardener, a real inspiration.
