DP - sorry not a swap, but in case no-one gets back to you, Wilkinsons had some black bamboo for £3.99 - had to bite my hand to stop myself grabbing one.

Thanks for that Amazin, unfortunately we don't have a Wilkinsons anywhere near us :'( :'(

Doris - how soon do you want some?

I would be happy to send you some shoots at the end of the season, but as this is only their second full year in the ground, I'd like to let them really get going before mucking about again.

Having said that, the neighbour I am using it to screen out asked me if I'd seen any pandas lately.

Anytime would be good, I am willing to wait, just love the look of them and thought it would look good by my pond, and am also aiming to screen out neighbours, and entice pandas!! ;D ;D

If you can remember to pm me in late summer, I'll dig some up for you - they love sandy soil it would appear.  I'll  also try & sift out the monbretia ( not the new fancy crocosmia stuff, good old fashioned thuggy monbretia) that's growing in between.
