Oh no, hope you are ok. :(

Think it is time to educate your OH!

You'll also need to find a knitting needle for when the itching starts!
Smile at your enemies.

It makes them wonder what you are up to.

kitten

Oh marg, what are you like!  ::) Soz to hear you're in the wars, take it easy though, don't go pushing yourself or you'll take forever to get better!

Perhaps there's a way your OH could fetch all the things you need to work on to the kitchen table & you could work there instead of the ghouse, then he can take them all back again once you're done? :D

Hope you feel better soon  :-*
Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened

triffid

Poor you!
Can you get on to your plot by car? If so, you could get the OH to chauffeur you in comfort so you can sit and give instructions.
Otherwise I second the hope that the kitchen table may become an extension of the greenhouse!

Wishing you a quick recovery...  :)

Oh No! sounds pretty painful - I know how dangerous those felines can be - mine are both grey to match the carpets - not a good idea! By the way, Yate is where we moved from to come up to the fens - Brimsham Park  ;D

Oh dear Marge. I broke my right arm last year and it was a pain in the ar**. I remember Lorna asking if I was good at supervising. At least you have your hands love so you can let your hubbie do all the leg work and you sit down and do some seed sowing and potting.. At least you will be ok when it gets really busy at the allotment
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

lorna

Definitely good idea about kitchen table ;D When Charlie was alive and could no longer get to greenhouse he would sit at kitchen table and I would run backwards and forwards with the pots ready filled with compost and he would sort the cuttings. He definitely had green fingers with cuttings.
You must feel gutted, but as others have said take it easy. Good luck
Lorna.

bumble-dee

sorry to hear about your accident marg.
keep your chin up (along with your ankle!)
we have 3 cats and at dinner time (for them)  it can be pretty hectic and dangerous!
im sure youll find a way of doing some gardening, get a pointing stick and a load hailer and you sit in the comfort of your home and direct the OH>
get well soon
Dee
