Spotted today, bumblebees, ladybirds and best of all, firebugs. Unusual for the latter to be out sunbathing in early March. ( The pic is not from this year.)

Yes, loads of lovely bugs about today. Saw bumble bees and millions of tiny flying beasties - (really pleased as my apricot has just begun to flower  :) ) First bluebottle in the house this year - my fault for flinging wide all the doors and windows to let the winter out!  :) :) :) Also saw a comma - a tatty, overwintered specimen, but pretty nevertheless.

keep finding lacewings, dead, don't know where they're coming from, they were in the house..saw my first bluebottle, again in the house and a beautiful peacock butterfly on the plot,  ;D

Had a couple of bumble bees today and yesterday saw my first queen wasp.
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

Smile at your enemies.

It makes them wonder what you are up to.
