Bought in 10 Duncan Spring Cabbage plants - planted 13/10/06.

Didn't do well with my cabbages either, have given them up as a lost cause! :(

Once the weather gets a bit better they might spring back to life...
Smile at your enemies.

It makes them wonder what you are up to.

Looked at mine yesterday, they looked just the same. What have they been doing all winter. They had better get a move on or they're OUT.
Isn't it disappointing?
Smile, it confuses people.

Mine were looking like that, but a couple of weeks ago I gave them some blood fish and bone, and they are starting to grow again - don't lose heart Tim!

Leaping from cabbage to leeks, there was a message recently complaining about leeks remaining tiny all winter, with which I agreed. But the very leeks I was complaining about have fattened up quite a lot recently.

That means that they look less like a complete mistake, and more like carefully planned leeks delayed for spring use.....

Well, still looking green, so reckon there's still life.  Patience, my friend... ;)
