Allotments 4 All

Been snowing in N London since 4.30am trudged to work on foot, kids have started a snowman we will finish it later I had 3 inches and it was cold.   ;D ;D ;D

AHA - we have a car!!

Tim, what wonderful thick snow!  Ours has nearly all gone now.  Still at least we had some as we don't get it very often. :)

No more snow here, not even sub zero! :(
Not had a really good dump here for at least 15 years !!!

Excellent snow round out way yesterday (Sarf London). Gave up trying to get to work on non-existent trains and went home to build a snowman with the kids ;D

It snowing here again today- yey!

Beat me to it Robkb. No snow here today brass monkeys thou, both snowmen are doing well.

No snow here yet but it is very cold  :(

still not a flake here.  i feel so left out.   :'(

It's snowing heavily again in Birmingham, with the roads totally clogged up and cars slipping all over the place. It can only get worse as it freezes. Schools were closed for the second day running, but they'd have been OK if they'd opened as the roads were clear till about four.

Ah but think of the poor teachers who would have had to stay behind to lock up.   :P

There was one day a couple of years ago when teachers had to camp overnight at the college I teach at because the roads were so dangerous they couldn't get home. But we can do a quick exit if we see it coming!

It started to snow about an hour ago but it has stopped now  :(

Our poor snowman is still standing but is surrounded by grass now, and probably won't last until the morning. :'(

Snowmen have had the rain on their backs all morning, small one looks rather anorexic,might be a catwalk snowman one day. Big one has done a bit of weight but still looking healthy apart from one eye, nose and mouth falling off. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Small snowman has gone, think shes run away with the circus. Big one has lost its head and looking rather thin. ;D ;D ;D

Big snowman has gone, was a snowball two hours ago but constant rain has finally finished her off. :( :'( ;D ;D ;D
