Beautiful, isn't it  ;D 8)

YES!

So packed with promise  ;D

(Any idea what the little tree in the first pic is?)

LauraB

It might be a plastic crate tree, judging by what's on the ground underneath it. But really, no. Not a clue. There are more trees further up, underneath the brambles.

The man in charge of the allotments said that he's in the process of clearing the plot because of all the brambles. He said I should start clearing from the top of the plot, and he would start from the bottom and we'd meet somewhere in between. Could've kissed him!

I measured it with paces, and I reckon it's about 20ft by 100ft

Looks lovely, don't throw away the crate it may come in useful, can't believe the man in charge is helping you normally you would be left to do it youself. ;D ;D ;D
MAY THE CORN BE WITH YOU.

Good luck and take it easy, as the members on here who have allotments always say...a little at a time.

It's under there somewhere, I hope?

Wow!!! A lovely blank canvas for you to work on. Don't forget to keep us updated. We have just taken on a new plot too. I can't wait for the better weather so that we can go up there more often,
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

From it's general profile I'd say the weeping tree would be in the Plum/Damson Family... post a pic of the first leaves for a better idea....
Here's one we prepared earlier...

Here's one we've almost cleared several times...!

I recognise that shed in the background! ;D

I'll have to post some before and after piccys of my allotment when it's looking like something is actually growing in it.... ;)
If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴
