Not exactly a banquet, but all my own grown produce.  Radish, mixed italian lettuce leaves, parsley, basil, oregano and mint.  Made a delish salad which tasted wonderful, and there is enough left for lunch tomorrow!  Tis great this growing your own!!

Lottie-less until I can afford a house with it's own garden.

Yup, Basil from the conservatory, no idea which cariety though  :-\.  It is last years plants that have happily lived all winter in the conservatory and are still growing strong.  Something got to my baby basil seedlings before me a couple of weeks back and munched the lot, now I need to buy some more seeds and have another go  :o.

Pulled a couple of leeks today for tonites dinner.  Not bad going for my first lottie year.

Most impressive-and following on on the theme of do what I say(not what I do-too dis-organised)next late Autumn sow some land cress and mache-then late winter some rocket inside-I know I will be having been reminded by your photo.

Looks great EJ, making me hungrey!

I had a salad last night with Jacket Spuds.  All stuff from the farm shop but I sat there eating it and thinking "soon this will be all home-grown (fingers crossed)".  I can't wait for my first taste  :P

I planted some Basil and Corriander 11 days ago, in pots on the window sill.  Just got in from work and I have my first shoots!  I just don't know if it's Basil or Corriander, I guess I'll have to wait until it gets a bit larger!  That'll teach me for thinking I could remember so no need to write on the pots!

Enjoy your feast  :)

That may teach you Mph.It still hasn't taught me .My favourite one is "i'll know it when i see it"Must say i'm not as bad as i used to be but do still do it on the odd occasion.

btw - don't forget MINT in salads - as in so many other things. And, if you've got more than one patch of it, cut one down now to give succession. = Tim

Mrs Ava

Always do Tim, makes a nice refreshing bite and my mint needs regular pinching back otherwise it will take over!  :o
