LOL lovely eric, we can always dream ::) aren't we lucky having changing seasons?
You've made me realise those glowing reds are missing from the veg plot - I thought of getting some blueberries and growing them in pots just to get a little red in miniature at this time of year. Until I saw them at Barnsdale I didn't know how ornamental they can be.
Next year, perhaps ;D

SS I have grown lots of fibrous begonias this year and they have performed so well. had to clear the tubs out and it was so sad. Next year I'm gonn grow all the  colours separatley in tubs cos I think you get a better effect that way and although they are the same flower the amount of different colour you can get in the leaves as well as the flowers makes them all appear different. I got mine in plugs from Wilkie's for 2for £5, They withstand any weather thats thrown at them.
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"
