Just been up the plot and covered my last few little gem lettuce with fleece. Hoping to pinch a few more pickings for a while
When I get old I don't want people thinking

We had a hard frost last night (Weds) turned 25 year old heater on in the greenhouse after a dose of WD40 going well.

they tend to look a bit sorry for awhile but then pick up again and should be ok

Too late for some of the spinach -  ate the smaller ones yesterday. Ymmmmmm.

It was -1.5 according to the car at 0545 this morning, everything did look nice and white, looking out of the window now it looks like its going to be another cold(ish) one tonight.

I can't actually see any frost out of the window this morning, so we may havw got away with it. I'll be going to the allotment later so I'll see.
