Wow, guys!!!!

Out of interest, how long ago did you plant these all out?

I planted my Red Baron about ten days ago, then decided that I needed at least another 50 onions, and planted some more today.......I  am assuming that mine will catch up.......

Guys & Dolls??

BB - was hoping it would make someone feel proud of theirs.

Tina - don't know, but would suggest 'don't worry'. Shallots & garlic went in in mid-February, onions went in mid-March; but, given a reasonable summer, & somewhere to ripen your harvest, you should be OK? Don't quote me! = Tim

Okay, old news now, but just sorted posting from the msn album aqui set up, so here are my lovely garlics all growing strong.  Hope my spring planted onions catch up soon.  :-\
