I have been away for two weeks and went to the plot last night to find almost all my beautiful 'caged' brassicas  looking like skeletons.
I need to kill the caterpillars that have somehow got on them.
They are in lovely cages of scaffolding nets......can it be sabotage!!!!!
What can i use, i really do need to kill the blighters?

My impression of scaffolding nets is wide mesh? If so, not much help.

I doubt that the cats are still at work? All ours have long gone. But if they are still there, fingers & thumbs!

They should start dissappering now as it get colder - i use the finger and thumb method like Tim, but messy though.

sorry to hear this-the blessed CBWs even managed to get under some of my fleece.

On a positive note even skeletal brassicas can and do grow back.
