10 years yesterday since Kurt Cobain died.  :'(
It really doesn't seem like that long ago - Is this a sign that I'm getting old?

10 years? Has it really been that long? I must be getting old too!
gone to pot :D

rdak

I remember getting back from celebrating my 18th and hearing the news.

eileen

Blimey REALLY didn't think it had been 10 years!

Eileen.

EILEEN.

Life is like nectar sweet but sometimes sticky.

Yup, folks, it's a sign of age creeping on - especially when like me your saddest music memory is crying on the way to work when Buddy Holly, the Big Bopper and Richie Valance died!!  :(

Equality isn't everyone being the same, equality is recognising that being different is normal.

cleo

sad to say that I am getting on a bit-was Jimi Hendrix for me.

Stephan-another leftie

Mrs Ava

Twas Elvis for me.  :'(  On holiday in Devon with family at the time.

Kurt Cobain never did anything for me....and still doesn't.  :-\

tim

I must be even older - who was he??

No - don't answer! = Tim

aquilegia

I no longer feel old - don't remember Elvis, Hendrix or Buddy Holly going to the big jam session in the sky. At the time of Kurt's demise, I was rather into grunge, metal etc, but can't stand the stuff anymore. Too nosy. No soul/heart to it whatsoever. OK now I am old again!
gone to pot :D

Muddy_Boots

At the risk of creating a riot, who was he?  ???
Muddy Boots

Mrs Ava

hehehehehehe....Nirvana MB, that long haired unattractive singer, if that noise could be called singing of course.  :o

Tsk Tsk folks - Age is a state of mind.  some of us only think about it when we catch sight of ourselves in a mirror unexpectedly   :o

and yes I do know about Kurt Kobain (and Courteny Love) were/are - unfortunately in the latter case!

I have to admit that I probably like Nirvana more now that I did at the time that they were popular. I've had their songs running through my head all this week.
I like my angry young man music I do.  :D
