Having just broken min ein half, wher on earth do you buy replacement wooden shafts/handles for forks?

Why do modern ones break so easily, yet old tools often have very old handles?

I've seen them around.

I think it must be a case of  " They don't make them like they used to".

And sorry to say but Ronnie Barker is no longer around to buy any Four candles from.

Old fashioned ironmongers and (roughie toughie) builders' supplies merchants still do them :)

Mrs Ava

My little local nursery does them also and if they don't have any, they order in.

I got one from my local 'Countrywide' store ( used to be West Midlands Farmers) They sell loads of good stuff and fairly cheap too.

Apple Dumpling

Both my local farmer's merchants stock a selection of handles for fork and other hand tools.
Who planted all these weeds?
