Express Delivery

It is getting to be a bit of a tradition/competition between myself and Dad. Various fruit and veg wing their way via royal mail between Devon and Sussex.

Today I received a couple of pounds of cherries.....and very very nice they are too!



Now, must send him some ripe tomatoes.....

Expecting a second deliver later this week. Royal Mail did very well, Posted at 4pm, arrived with us the next morning at 7am.

Wish my mum could do the same. She has two large cherry trees, but lives in Belgium  :-\.

Ah, the gorgeous Doris Pinks once sent me a suprise parcel like that in the post, a box full of fresh figs!  Friendship sealed!  ;)

Sure beats the telephone bill arriving in the mail Jerry!
