Allotments 4 All

now-i know i have my senior  moments -but i definately-DEFINATELY sowed  dt browns rocket seed-and they have come up as unidentified tomato plants!
i know they were rocket-a)because thats what it said on the packet
b)i would hardly sow tomatoes direct in the ground in april and may would i?no,i wouldnt!
and c)i didnt buy any tomato seeds this year
so-has anyone else had this?....and how could it have happened?

oooer, never had it with veg, had it with flowers from T&M though.  Call them and let them know, bet they send you a replacement.....

More toms at Kittys house, and rocket salads...a little later in the year than planned.

They're not self seeded are they?

My Heartsease seeds from T&M are now forget me nots

My sister's runner bean seeds once turned into sprout plants. They like runner beans and planted a lot. They hate sprouts.  ;D

Can't remember what they got as compensation, but I'm sure it was worthwhile.

Rest of the family enjoyed the sprouts 8)

Someone I know once visited a seed warehouse. All the different seeds were loose in massive bays with some spilling over into the next bay! He asked about it and was told "Well we do put all the different cabbage seeds next to each other, so generally you at least get cabbage".

I've got a few tomatos growing in with the carrots and lettuce, doubt they have self seeded as its a new plot !
Will see how they develop.

Loads of time to grow rocket.  I grow mine later in the year so it doesn't bolt quite so quickly.  Also grew it all through last winter and it was great, only flowered a couple of weeks back.
