For tomatoes. I wasn't going to sew any, but now I've had a change of heart.  ::)

I'm certainly no expert, quite the opposite in fact, but I've just started off some more - Golden Sunrise - to go with my Alicante that I started ealrier in the year.  I imagine that with the late summer we are supposed to be having, it might not be a problem.  But I'd also love some clarification from more seasoned pro's... :)
Thank you to all who donated to the Moonlight Half Marathon Walk in aid of St Catherine's Hospice - my mum and I raised just over £300!!!    ............     Thanks!  :-)

you might be able to still sow some but may need to stop them at a few trusses, someone more experienced will post and keep you right. you could buy some plants to get started quicker.

If you want to part with your address, I will send you a few little seedlings about 3 inches high, as I have tooooo! many ;D

PM me if interested ;)

Mrs Ava

I potted on 3 lots of different tom seedlings today.  Humberts something, one begining with G and another one I can't remember!  Blimey, old age huh!  Anyhow, I plan to grow these in the greenhouse, but the way the seasons are going, it seems to me spring is getting later, so summer should drag on into October, and Christmas time will only be mid autumn!  You have nothing to loose, even if you only get a couple of good ripe trusses per plant!  Go on, get sowing!

If you look in local papers you may spot plant sales, we are having one in Derby and I have loads of Toms for sale, nearly 200, in 20 varieties, most at or near first flowers. There will be some left after Sunday!
;D
