Organic Tomatoes ??

My daughter is growing a few tomatoes outdoors, in pots, and I was telling her that she should soon start feeding them tomatoe feed - such as Tomarite. She asked me if this was organic. 
Not being organic myself I don't know the answer.
Is Tomarite considered to be organic ? If not, what should she feed the tomatoes with, and still be organic ?

I wouldn't consider tomarite organic (though I could be wrong).

I think one of the most popular feeds for tomatoes (and lots of other things) is liquid comfrey, which you can buy organic.  You can buy this in concentrated form (or you can make your own if you have the plants) which you then dilute and water your toms with.

Comfrey plants 5.55 i had some delivered and all in good shape and growing nicely !!

I don't consider Tomarite organic either.  I use chicken manure pellets in pots and spray plants with a seaweed solution (from the Organic Catalogue) it they look in need - which they rarely do.
