Allotments 4 All

Has anyone had any success growing sweet potatoes? I love them and would like to try growing them on the allotment. I can't find them for sale in the seed catalogues

Bliming 'eck, I wish I hadn't pre-ordered mine now last year from HDRA... more £ and less slips >:( (and they were the best value at the time...)
