I changed my signature the other day to include where I am. I thought it would help if other people knew where you were, could even swap,beg or borrow from others locally.
You don't have to put your post code just a town would be nice.

Its a nice idea.  Some forums I post on include a place name as part as the avatar bit which has made me a couple of friends in the past as you see who is close and meet up etc.

oooh tim, i knew you were in the cotswolds, but so close to burton on the water!?!?! i love this place! the whole landscape reminds me of my home with the hills and all, and what did i find in burton? a christmas shop! selling my home counties wooden christmas things, and smoking men, and all :)

yah, i was there when the river was flooding the place though :D
and, like i said, the most fascinating places there was the tea shop, and the christmas shop

All in my profile. I can see putting it in signature would save members looking through profiles.. I often wonder where people are, not to be nosey (well maybe) but something in their post makes me think.. wonder where they are.
