Allotments 4 All

Some how the growing tip was broken on my most sturdy Totem plant.  think it even had a few flowers just budding.  :'(

will it just carry on regardless and shoot from elsewhere, or should i bin it.  i can't tell you how angry i am, and next time i'll put more screws in the base me bleeding self.

It's a bush variety so should continue to grow quite happily I think.

ps..does this make you feel better?-i have-over the bank holiday weekend..cured the wet rot in the lobby...emulsioned the workroom-(inc. moving all movables and put them back on bank hol monday)took the bath panel off and found the leak-sadly 'un-kittyable' so arranged plumber..potted on cucs toms general flowery plants...carried on as usual at work(workroom is at work).the comment?

trouble is, i was just making him feel useful.  ::)  in hindsight i think it was a ploy not for me to ask him again ............ he was going to repair the shed door while i was away ....... i've told him he'll need at least two pairs of hands and to wait for me to get back.  i should have learned after the shed window debacle.   8)

but yes you lot have made me feel better, but i've sown another four plants "just in case".   ;D

Take heart MissusKP,my daughter sat on my tom plant,I left it,it's come back and looks very well now.

funny (?) thing was that i saw his bottom get very close to three of the lilies so i quickly moved them out of the way.  ;D

i've had a chat with tom and told him daddy was daft and didn't mean it  :P

I never give up on tomatoes until they roll over and shrivel ! Sometimes they recover from the most amazing damage. You are wise to do some more though  :)

luckily his latest hobby is on-line poker so i'm now encouraging him NEVER to leave the office.

actually he's doing quite well, won a place in a grand final of some competition down in london later in the year.  apparently i've got to do a footballers wives type appearance in the crowd  :o :o :o :o :o
