No, really?  !!!  I didn't see any till St George's Day last year.  Everything else seems so late - reckon it's getting chilly in S. Africa?! ;D

Well it was a bit to big to be a house martin - could have been a swift?

Nah, swifts are last to arrive and first to leave ....

thats good news grey hound ,..as you will probably remember they where late last year due to the bad weather conditions over africa and at one point i thought my area was going to be missing out ,.but they eventually arrived i am glad to say,..

That is amazing keef.  I love to see swallows and swifts, it is always a good sign for the weather.  They are wonderful to watch too and always make you feel good just watching them swooping. busy_lizze

Certainly verrrry early..... great, spring is on its way now,   apart from the sleet/snow lying on my car.
