Aw he's lovely MM. Gorgeous coat,he looks so healthy. I try Spook with toys but he is more interested in catching the dog's tail when she walks past than anything else...oh and peeing in my dahlia trays  >:(

Merlins Mum

Georgie, I packed him up and posted him off this morning, they have promised next day delivery, so should be with you first thing! ;D

Heldi, when we first had Merlin 6 years ago he wouldn't play at all.  Gradually with lots of encouragement from me he has learnt what play means.  Now he'll go to his toy box and pull it off the shelf and start to play with the various mice that he has, but of course he does have a favourite.  Then yesterday morning to my delight he started to play with one of the balls he has.  He has never done this before not even if you rolled one up to him and when we had gone to bed I could hear him downstairs playing again with it.  My previous cat loved playing with a ping-pong ball and would pick it up in his front paws.   I will try to find one of Chivers
Thanks for the quick lesson on posting pics. No stopping me now  ::)

cleo

Why do stray cats love us gardeners?-I am now feeding four mouths-Cleo and Rags(home girls) plus `Bertrum`-a timid tom,and `Mitzie`-a fiesty quean-all the girls seem to have the hots for Bertrum(ha ha-they are never at risk) Mitzie and Cleo get on OK but raggy Baggy gets quite cross when Mitzie is around.

We mere humans can never understand cats-but they sure do enrich our lives
